About Me

Growing up in Melbourne, I split my time between the coast and the snowy mountains, so staying active was simply part of life. I also dedicated over 18 years to competitive gymnastics, eventually representing Australia at several international competitions. Along the way, I became very familiar with chiropractors, physiotherapists, doctors, and just about anyone who could help keep a gymnast held together with tape and determination. Looking back now as a clinician, the knowledge I have today probably would have saved my parents a small fortune in medical bills.

My career path took an unexpected turn during an exchange program in Cologne at the German Sport University, where I developed an interest in gerontology and learned German. Somewhere between navigating a new country and recognising the importance of movement for maintaining independence later in life, as well as how seamlessly it is integrated into daily routines there, I realised this was the direction I wanted to pursue.

After returning to Melbourne, I streamlined my undergraduate studies due to my previous double degree and went on to complete my Master’s at Victoria University. I have been a qualified and practising clinician since 2018, working across both large organisations and small private practices. I support people managing a range of chronic conditions and particularly enjoy helping individuals rediscover that movement does not have to be intimidating or monotonous.

There is nothing better than seeing someone go from “exercise is not for me” to realising they are stronger and more capable than they thought. Helping people move better, feel better, and maintain independence in their daily lives is what keeps me motivated, and keeps me from attempting another gymnastics comeback.
